WFO Roedl & Partner Vacancy for an Accountant in Lagos

WFO Roedl & Partner - We provide professional services in the area of audit, consulting, finance and payroll accounting, law, and taxes, as well as HR consulting.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Experienced Accountant 
Location: Lagos 
Duties 

• Authenticate, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare accurate accounting reports and present their results
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Analyse financial information and summarize financial status
• Identify errors and make recommendations for efficient business operations
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule

Role Specification 

• Minimum of B.Sc (Second Class Upper) or HND (Upper Credit) Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or any related field.
• Expert in developing Business Plans and Feasibility studies report.
• Minimum of 5 years in financial accounting and management reporting in a well-structured organization.
• Professional qualification is a must.
• Direct experience in accounting software like SAP, QuickBooks or SAGE is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership personality and communications skills.
• Must be fully certified (ICAN) accountant or in the final stage of professional exams.
• Strong Corporate Accounting Skills.
• Background in Taxation and Reporting.
• Strong Background in Corporate Finance.
